Socca History

The International Socca Federation (ISF) was founded in 2017 by leaders of small-sided football leagues across Europe and Asia. It organizes global tournaments for national and club teams in 5, 6, 7, and 8-a-side formats. The first ISF World Cup took place in 2018 in Portugal, won by Germany, and has since become a major event, with recent tournaments in Hungary (2022) and Germany (2023), where Kazakhstan claimed the title.

In addition to the World Cup, the ISF launched the Champions League for club teams, with its first edition held in Croatia and won by a Polish team. National leagues can join the ISF to represent their country, while players not selected for national teams can still compete in the Champions League. The ISF continues to grow small-sided football globally, uniting fans and players through exciting, competitive events.
