Socca Germany,Essen Worldcup 2023

The 2023 Socca World Cup took place in Essen, Germany between 1st June 2023 and 12 June 2023, as 44 countries were present from around the globe to battle it out for the title of ‘World Champions’.

The tournament was hailed as the largest small sided football tournament in the world, after record crowds attended the week long event, with over 250,000 spectators said to have filled the purpose built stadium in the Kennedyplatz night after night.

On the field, we saw the quality of football matching the electric atmosphere in the tribunes, with teams from 4 continents showcasing their passion and skills.

In the Socca World Cup final, a tense match between the 2022 runners up Kazakhstan and a spirited Ukrainian side was eventually decided by a Socca penalty shootout, with Kazakhstan being victorius and winning their first ever World Cup crown.
